Job summary
Horizon Leisure Centres in Waterlooville is seeking a proactive Lifeguard to join our Operations Team. You will support the Duty Management Team in operating a first-class leisure facility and deliver safe, friendly service to customers.
This role requires RLSS UK Lifeguard certification, First Aid knowledge, and a flexible, team-oriented approach. We offer a comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and benefits including gym access for you and a plus one, discounts, parking, and a supportive
Qualifications
- RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willing to undertake)
- HSE First Aid Qualification desirable
- Certificates in COSHH & Health & Safety desirable
Responsibilities
- Use the Horizon HELLO in all customer interactions
- Welcome and assist customers with general enquiries
- Understand and be knowledgeable about our products and services
- Undertake lifeguarding duties and operational duties as directed by the Duty Management Team
- Maintain and monitor all facilities to ensure cleanliness is paramount and always free of hazards
- Responsible for ensuring customers are treated with respect
- Responsible for ensuring staff are treated with respect
- Responsible for the safety of all customers and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults
- Set-up and take down of sports equipment according to schedules
