Job summary

Village is seeking a Leisure Assistant (Lifeguard) to ensure we maintain a spotless, safe, and welcoming club environment. The role involves poolside supervision, deep cleaning of changing rooms, and assisting members with facility queries.

You will work across the gym floor and public areas, upholding hygiene standards and providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude. Training will be provided for RLSS guidance and COSHH-compliant cleaning practices.

Qualifications

• Proactive team player with experience in high-traffic leisure environments.
• Willing to perform pool supervision and respond to alarms.
• Attention to hygiene standards across changing rooms, gym floor, and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the designated changing rooms, ensuring showers, lockers, and floors are clean and stocked.
• Act as a trained Pool Emergency Responder during pool hours and respond to alarms.
• Sanitise equipment on the gym floor and public areas, handle cleaning materials safely per COSHH guidelines.
• Be the friendly face of the club, giving guidance and welcoming members.
