The Opportunity

The safety of all our guests, leisure members, and all visitors that are using our leisure facilities is of paramount importance. And having confident and qualified lifeguards who play a key role in the safety of all swimmers using the facilities.

In this role, you will have a variety of duties from supervising swimming activities at the leisure complex and making sure that safety procedures, guidelines, and policies are followed. Inspecting pool equipment, facilities, and water to make sure they are usable and safe and as well as supervising and assisting in cleaning the equipment and facilities.

And keeping swimmers safe with warnings of unsafe activities and enforcing water safety policies and pool regulations.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in rescue aids and with methods such as the use of lifebuoys and poles.
• A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) would be advantageous but full training will be provided to the right candidate
• You must be a Competent swimmer
