Job summary

Nuffield Health Brentwood is seeking a Lifeguard for Rugby FWC to supervise and assist members in the pool area and facilities. This bank/part-time role offers flexibility to match business needs and your availability.

You must hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or an equivalent qualification and be able to provide current training records. We value enthusiasm, a positive attitude and strong customer care; you will be a supportive team player committed to safety.

Qualifications

• Able to provide ongoing training records.
• Strong customer care, teamwork and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy in wet-side facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room).
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Pay attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times

• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
