• Flexible and available for varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Join the Babington House team as a Lifeguard on a full-time contract.
• Ensure safety of guests in and around the pool area.
• Provide excellent service while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

Babington House

Situated in a Grade II-listed manor built in 1705, Babington House is surrounded by 18 acres of English countryside in the heart of Somerset. Just 30 minutes from Bath, it’s the ultimate countryside escape for rest, relaxation and seasonal dining. With 33 bedrooms spread across Babington’s historic buildings, Cabins and Lodges, the club features a formal dining space in the Orangery, serving a unique menu centred around seasonal and local produce. There’s also a cricket pitch and tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a gym and original Cowshed Spa.

The Role…

We are seeking an excellent and outgoing Lifeguard to join our Babington House team on a full time fixed term contract working five shifts per week.

What We Are Looking For In a Lifeguard...

• 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile bar (preferred but not essential)
• Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Sense of urgency
• Yes, yes, yes mentality
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
• Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required
  
  

Expected Working Hours For a Lifeguard

• Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes
• Average hours 32-45 hours per week
  
  

Travel: Approx. 30 minutes from Bath, 50 minutes from Bristol & 10 mins from Frome (No local transport from Frome)
