Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to oversee pool safety and ensure exceptional member experiences at our clubs in England. The role requires vigilance, strong communication and a passion for health and fitness, with opportunities for training and career development.

You will conduct pool testing, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines across all pool areas, contributing to a welcoming, inclusive club culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NPLQ qualification.
• Passion for health and fitness.
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
• Team player, happy to share knowledge and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pool safety and lifeguard duties to protect members.
• Conduct pool tests and ensure documentation is up to date.

With over 180 indoor and outdoor pools at David Lloyd Clubs, our Lifeguards play a vital role in always overseeing the poolside safety as well as being on hand to ensure our members are having a great experience. You will ensure the pool areas are compliant on all Health and Safety requirements, conducting pool tests in accordance with company guidelines and ensuring that documentation is maintained accurately at all times.
