• Must hold NPLQ or equivalent lifeguard qualification.
• Ability to swim 100 meters continuously and dive to 1.4 meters.

Job description

What you'll bring to the team

We are looking for candidates who have full-time availability willing to work shifts throughout the week, with a focus on Mon-Fri availability.

As a Lifeguard, you'll be an important part of life here at Alton Towers Resort as you ensure that everyone can use the Waterpark safely and that they have access to everything they need to enjoy their visit. This will involve providing excellent customer care to people of all ages, supervising activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the pool area, and ensuring the safe handling and setup of pool equipment. And of course, when needed - you'll help to save lives.

This is a fixed-term position running until November 2025.

Qualifications & Experience

You may already be a Lifeguard, which is great! All we are looking for is…

1. If you already hold a NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification), please let us know in your application/CV.
2. Able to swim a minimum of 100 metres on your back and front continuously.
3. Able to dive to a depth of 1.4 metres.
4. Able to swim efficient breaststroke and have some knowledge of sidestroke.

Pay Range

Compensation between GBP £11.00/Hr. - GBP £12.70/Hr.
