Job summary

Camp Beaumont Group Limited is seeking an enthusiastic lifeguard to join our activity team at our day camps. You will be responsible for the safety of children aged 5 and over and staff around the swimming pool during summer and school holidays. You must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and be over 18.

You will need two right-to-work IDs and an enhanced DBS disclosure. Training will be provided, and you may also help with other activities such as archery, football, tennis, and

Qualifications

• Over 18 years old.
• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
• Available to work during the School Holidays.
• Be a UK/EU citizen with 2 x right to work ID’s.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of children aged 5+ and staff around the pool area.
• Enforce the pool code of conduct during sessions.
• Assist with Group Leader activities such as archery, football, tennis, and crafts.
• Attend training and complete background checks prior to start.
• Work during summer and school holidays on weekdays.

Join our activity team at Camp Beaumont to play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable, award-winning experiences for children. You will be part of a team delivering exceptional day camp programs and monitoring the well-being of all our young camp members.

About the role:

You will be responsible for the safety of children aged 5 and over and staff using the swimming pool at a multi-activity day camp for 3 to 14-year-olds during summer and school holiday weekdays, enforcing the swimming pool code of conduct rigorously to ensure safe swim sessions.

You also have the option to join our Group Leaders with additional activities, including archery, football, tennis, dance, swimming, arts and crafts, and so much more!

About you:

• Over 18 years old
• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
• Available to work during the School Holidays
• Be a UK/EU citizen with 2 x right to work ID’s
• Have initiative and the ability to work independently
• Awareness of safeguarding children (Training will be given)

Hourly rate is dependent on qualifications, size of camp and experience. Hourly rate includes holiday pay.
