Life Cycle Engineers are traditionally responsible for providing in-service technical support of Defence products to ensure their safe, reliable, cost effective and disruption free operation. Within the future programmes team in Bristol (GCAP), they bring a strong customer and engineering focus to influence the design and to affect the maturity of the product across the life cycle to meet customer and business needs to ensure Design Intent is met.
The EHM aspect covers the SATAA model - Sense (monitoring and sensing on the product), Acquire (capturing the data), Transfer (accessing the data) , Analyse (interrogating the data) & Act (taking action on the interrogated data).
