Job summary

EY Belfast is seeking a Manager in Life Sciences within Business Consulting to lead multi-client engagements across the Life Sciences value chain, including commercial strategy and market access. The role sits within the Life Sciences & Wellness team and combines strategic thinking with hands-on project leadership.

Qualifications

• At least moderate experience in traditional management consulting and/or in a Global Pharma/Biotech/Med Tech organisation.
• Proven track record delivering projects in Commercial Strategy; Pricing, Reimbursement & Market Access; Digital Therapeutics; Real World Evidence; Innovative Contracting; New Product Planning & Business Development & Licensing.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams, ideally across regions/countries.
• Experience in thought leadership demonstrated through writing (blogs, white papers) or speaking engagements.

Responsibilities

• Engagement responsibilities: manage multiple clients and project teams; deliver high-quality insights by applying critical thinking.
• Partner with clients on franchise/portfolio/disease strategy, asset positioning, product launches, and market access strategies; contribute to new business proposals.
• Ensure alignment on project scope, deliverables and timelines; build trusted client relationships.
• People responsibilities: assist with resource allocation; develop junior team members; contribute to performance feedback and talent initiatives in Life Sciences.
• Other responsibilities: drive internal initiatives; contribute to thought leadership through writing and speaking engagements.
