Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Life Sciences R&D Strategy Consultant in London to help major Life Sciences clients transform their R&D functions. You will work on strategy development, operating models, and digital-enabled transformation across research, development, and regulatory domains, delivering value to patients.

You will engage in data-driven assessments, stakeholder communications, and hands-on delivery of strategic recommendations within a collaborative, innovative culture at Accenture.

Qualifications

• Experience focusing on R&D in Life Sciences with strategy/management consulting or biopharma/biotech R&D background.
• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record; advanced degree a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead focused project teams across Life Sciences R&D topics (research, clinical development, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and adjacent biotech/medtech).
• Independently lead workstreams to assess client R&D strategies, operating models, processes and technology landscapes.
• Gather, synthesize and analyze data to develop strategic recommendations across productivity, portfolio prioritisation, trial innovation, regulatory transformation, and AI-enabled change.
• Structure and communicate outcomes to client management to support evidence-based decisions.
• Collaborate with client teams to implement recommendations and deliver measurable value.
