Job summary

Bidwells in Oxford is seeking a Building Surveyor to join our growing team. You'll contribute to delivering complex life science projects and commercial spaces, working alongside a life science specialist and an experienced Partner.

This role suits candidates at various career stages, offering mentoring, diverse project work from refurbishment to new fit-outs, and opportunities to develop client relationships with landlords, occupiers and institutions across Oxford's science-and-tech

Qualifications

• A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS (where applicable).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem solving.
• Curiosity, ambition and a desire to continually develop.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full breadth of commercial building surveying.
• Develop technical expertise while building trusted relationships with landlords, occupiers and institutional clients.
• Focus on project delivery and contract administration as Employer’s Agent or Contract Administrator on refurbishment, alteration and fit-out projects.
• Projects delivered across Oxford’s science campuses and wider Golden Triangle.
