Job Description

This is a senior Life Science position, where you will create ongoing strategic growth plans and lead the continued development in the UK region. You will grow sales and build solid relationships with our customers. Working with a team of technicians, product specialists, Information System specialists, and partners, you will participate in the entire process from idea development and negotiation to delivery. You will also build and maintain relationships with all partners, from C-level to implementers. You will be a member of a specialist team reporting to the Life Science Sales Manager for Central, East, and Northern EMEA.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Focus on selling the Connected Enterprise, Rockwell Automation's portfolio of solutions covering all parts of automation from smart machines and ready-to-use process solutions to safe network infrastructure and information solutions.
  2. Be the specialist within your area and part of our EMEA Life Science affinity team.
  3. Manage a portfolio of existing customers, including many that are part of our Global Strategic and Enterprise accounts, as well as new and developing customers.
  4. Develop longstanding relationships at customer levels up to C-suite, within the ecosystem, the Life Science Industry, and accredited associations (e.g., ISPE, BIA).
  5. Serve as the first contact for customers, supported by a strong team of technical consultants, product specialists, industry specialists, and solution delivery teams, throughout the full sales process from initial presentation and concept development to negotiation, delivery, and follow-up for maintenance, service, and upgrades.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Technical education and experience selling solutions to the Life Science Industry or equivalent.
  • Experience engaging with decision-makers such as Site Managers, EHS Managers, Operations Managers, and Engineering Managers.
  • Commercial mindset and a successful track record in sales development.
  • Ability to develop an internal network within a matrix organization.
  • Proven experience in delivering sales results and meeting commitments.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Ability to understand and contribute to discussions about customers' Business Plans to develop their automation solutions.
  • Capability to lead the Customer Service Value Chain throughout the complete Sales Cycle.
  • Excellent networking skills.

  • Proven experience working with senior leaders and stakeholders.
