Job Outline:

Join our Department team in Leeds as a Sales Consultant. ActiveQuote offers Life, Health, and Income Protection insurance advice, working with top insurers like Aviva, AXA, Bupa, Vitality, Zurich, L&G.

We operate leading UK price comparison sites for health, income, and life insurance, powering sites like MoneySuperMarket, GoCompare, and Money Saving Expert.

Job Scope:

As a Sales Consultant, you will help customers find suitable insurance products. This is not cold-calling; customer inquiries come from partners and marketing.

You will provide excellent customer service and tailored advice, managing customer expectations and achieving targets.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Build rapport, uncover needs, and recommend suitable policies
  • Explain policy benefits clearly
  • Coordinate with insurer partners and handle complaints effectively
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and legislation
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and underwriting criteria
  • Complete tasks efficiently and support team goals
  • Communicate professionally via phone and email
  • Send quotations promptly with correct documentation
  • Manage callback schedules effectively
  • Promote company values of INTEGRITY, UNITY, INNOVATION, and PASSION
Skills and Education:
  • At least 5 GCSEs including Math and English at grade C or above
  • Experience selling Life Insurance or Income Protection in the last 5 years
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, honest, customer-focused
  • Organized, multi-tasker, deadline-oriented
  • Self-motivated, team player
  • Proven sales record
  • Available for 37.5 hours/week on flexible schedule
  • CII or IFS qualifications or willingness to pursue

Normal hours: Mon-Thu 9am-8pm, Fri 9am-5.30pm, Sat 10am-2pm. Applications from individuals with bankruptcy, IVAs, or CCJs are not accepted due to FCA regulation.
