Salary: £30,000 - £32,500 (depending on skills and experience)

Are you an experienced Life Claims Assessor with an appetite for providing excellent customer service and supporting vulnerable customers? If so, this could be your next career move. As a Life Claims Assessor, you will make fair and balanced claims decisions within industry guidelines and our client's claims philosophy. Speed and quality are essential, using appropriate evidence.

You will have daily contact with customers, intermediaries, and service providers via written communication and telephone.

What we expect from you:
  1. Manage Individual Protection claims from notification to final settlement within your authority and service standards.
  2. Assess claims in line with the client claims philosophy and policy terms.
  3. Obtain additional information related to claims or inquiries.
  4. Explain claims requirements and decisions.
  5. Resolve appeals and complaints.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries and service providers.
  7. Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of the claims process.
  8. Collaborate with other departments like Group Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Client Services to enhance overall practices.
