Job summary

Oliver James Group, a leading consultancy, is looking to hire a Life Actuarial Manager into its UK actuarial consulting team. Qualified Life Actuary will gain broad experience across IFRS 17, financial reporting, capital, regulatory work, M&A, and actuarial modelling while delivering client engagements.

As a Manager, you will lead engagements, review work, and mentor junior staff, with exposure to a variety of clients and projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified Life Actuary with UK experience.
• Broad UK Life actuarial experience across products.
• Experience with IFRS 17, financial reporting, capital or modelling.
• Experience reviewing actuarial work and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of client engagements and manage smaller teams.
• Review actuarial work and provide technical input across projects.
• Support multiple engagements across diverse client projects.
