You’ll lead strategic planning and execution for Softlines and Party, manage key licensee relationships, and identify new partners to drive category growth. Your work will directly influence how Disney is represented in party experiences across the region.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract covering parental leave, based in our London Hammersmith office, four days a week.

What You Will Do

  1. Partner with the Senior Licensing Sales Manager/Licensing Sales Director to implement long-term strategies for Softlines and Party, aligning with franchise and category goals.
  2. Use market trends, consumer insights, and commercial data to shape strategies that grow the girls’ dress-up, apparel, and party business across EMEA.
  3. Lead the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting for Softlines and Party licensees, collaborating with franchise, marketing, product development, and finance teams.
  4. Manage and grow relationships with licensees in the girls’ dress-up and party space, ensuring strong joint business planning and performance.
  5. Negotiate regional contracts and ensure alignment with global and local stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with creative and product development teams to bring innovative Softlines and Party products to market, ensuring brand integrity and commercial success.
  7. Support licensees and retailers with marketing initiatives that drive sell-through, including digital, social, and in-store activations.
  8. Champion Disney’s International Labour Standards (ILS) process with suppliers in the Softlines and Party categories.
  9. Lead new business development efforts and research to identify scalable opportunities in dress-up, partywear, and related softlines.
  10. Represent the category in market meetings and share best practices across regions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  1. Proven experience in product development, merchandising, or commercial sales within girls’ dress-up, softlines, or party categories.
  2. Strong understanding of the consumer products industry, ideally with licensing experience.
  3. Demonstrated ability to build and manage commercial relationships, lead cross-functional collaboration, and deliver against financial targets.
  4. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  5. Agile and proactive in identifying new opportunities and adapting to change.
  6. Proficient in MS Office tools and fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  7. Strong grasp of digital and retail marketing, with a creative and strategic approach to problem-solving.
  8. Excellent planning, organizational, and influencing skills.
  9. Cultural awareness and sensitivity to local market dynamics across EMEA.
