Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and community-focused Licensing Officer to join our high-performing regulatory services team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will help shape safe, fair and well-regulated places across Peterborough and Rutland, working as part of a forward-looking service that also delivers services for other councils.

You will carry out interventions, undertake low-level enforcement visits, investigate complaints, and provide business advice in relation to best practice. You will also have a keen interest in customer delivery, with a commitment to protecting and safeguarding the public.

The service is developing its commercial offering and as such experience with providing training and producing reports and analytical data will be an advantage.
