Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Requirements
  1. Active Licensed Vocational Nurse in California
  2. One (1) Year Subacute experience
  3. Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster shots
  4. Knowledge of long-term care patient needs
  5. Demonstrated ability to deal with fast-paced environment

Primary Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Subacute Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership and supervision to certified nursing assistants
  2. Oversee the care and wellbeing of residents
  3. Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
  4. Complete charting and treatment plans/physician orders, etc.
  5. Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
  6. Make rounds with physicians as requested/necessary
  7. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan and implement and evaluate patient care
  8. Performs interviews to identify specific patient needs
  9. Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in patient’s condition
  10. Collects, analyzes, and interprets information from health care members and documents
  11. Orient and welcome new residents and families
  12. Knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC)
  13. Other duties as assigned

PAY SCALE: $32 to $36


Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
