Job summary

Mitie in the United Kingdom is seeking a Security Officer to protect client property, people and assets in line with site Assignment Instructions. You will ensure compliance with UK law and regulatory requirements while delivering on-site service that supports contract retention.

You will perform tasks on site, renew licences in a timely manner, report incidents, and maintain professional conduct in challenging situations as part of a robust security team.

Qualifications

• Front-line security licence is required (Guarding or Door Supervision).
• CCTV PSS SIA Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Protect customer property, people and assets by providing security services per AI's.
• Deliver results that meet KPIs/SLA to help retain the contract.
• Complete all tasks on site as defined in the AI's.
• Review AI's and suggest amendments to improve service.
• Obtain front-line licence and renew 16 weeks before expiry.
• Comply with UK law and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain safety, report incidents, and keep accurate notes.
• Keep check calls within allocated time slots; contact emergency services when needed.
