Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect our client's property, people and assets. You will work on site in Ellesmere Port, ensuring compliance with Assignment Instructions, UK law and client policies while maintaining professional conduct and safety standards.

You will undergo required competency training, renew licences ahead of expiry, and contribute to incident reporting and continuous service improvements. Prior experience and SIA licencing are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have previous security experience.
• Must hold an SIA licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed KPIs/SLA by delivering reliable security services.
• Complete required training and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with policies and legal/regulatory requirements on site.
• Complete tasks on site as defined in Assignment Instructions.
• Renew front-line licences 16 weeks before expiry.
• Look out for and report Health & Safety hazards on site.
• Call emergency services and report incidents when required.
