Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect property, people and assets on client sites in Worthing. You will work per published Assignment Instructions and KPIs, maintaining professional conduct and completing incident reports as required.

Ongoing training, licence renewals, and compliance with health and safety standards are essential. The role requires frontline SIA licences (Guarding/Door Supervision) and a CCTV PSS SIA Licence, with additional courses contractually required.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required for frontline security roles (Guarding or Door Supervision).
• CCTV PSS SIA Licence required; additional contractually required courses may apply.
• SC Clearance desirable as an additional security credential.

Responsibilities

• Protect customer property, people and assets per site AI's and KPIs/SLAs.
• Deliver services to meet or exceed contract targets and support client retention.
• Complete required competency training and ongoing self-development.
• Comply with UK law, policies and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Maintain professional conduct and follow instructions and procedures on site.
• Complete accurate incident notebooks and report incidents; support incident report process.
• Ensure check calls are carried out on the allocated schedule and contact emergency services if needed.
