DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, you will manage the psychological services program at SCI Laurel Highlands. You will supervise a professional team, screen inmates, conduct psychological evaluations, score and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment objectives. You will also implement counseling programs to address adjustment problems, manage research projects, and develop new policies and procedures. This role requires the ability to form effective working relationships and manage psychological services operations that meet the treatment objectives for inmates. In addition, you will participate in various committees, testify as an expert witness in legal proceedings, and exercise therapeutic care, custody, and control over inmates at all times.
