Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES in Leicester is seeking an organised Product Developer to join our team. You will develop licensed products from concept to production, collaborating with customers, licensors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure products meet standards, costs and deadlines.

You will manage supplier quotes, artwork and approvals, monitor timelines, and work with sales to understand market trends and target margins.

Qualifications

Experience in product development or a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of licensed products and brand approvals is an advantage.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good commercial awareness and understanding of product costs.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Develop new products in line with customer briefs and licensed brand guidelines.
Liaise with suppliers and factories to obtain prices, samples and product information.
Manage product samples, artwork and approvals with licensors and customers.
Ensure products meet quality, safety and compliance requirements.
Monitor product development timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and market trends.
Check product costs to ensure they meet target prices and profit margins.
Maintain accurate product information, development records and critical paths.
Resolve any issues relating to samples, approvals, costs or production.
