Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Farnborough is seeking a Licensed Avionics Inspector - Nights (FAR) to join the UK part 145 maintenance team. The role supports line and base maintenance inputs and requires inspection certification in accordance with MOE Part 145 and UKCAA standards.

The successful candidate will lead maintenance tasks, manage manpower resources, and certify work completed on aircraft at the main base and other locations, including Luton. 1900-700 shift pattern applies.

Qualifications

• UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance License with aircraft type ratings.
• Extensive line and base maintenance experience.
• Experience in aircraft inspection and certification.
• Knowledge of aviation legislation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as inspector in support of a specific aircraft line or base maintenance input under MOE Part 145.
• Perform day-to-day duties of Maintenance Team Leader when requested by a Service Team Manager.
• Daily management of manpower resources for assigned aircraft line or base maintenance input.
• Certify tasks trained on and authorised to perform Inspect and certify at Luton main base and other locations worldwide.
• Promote and ensure maintenance commitments are fulfilled within the assigned time scale and report delays.
