Job summary

Intake Talent is seeking experienced B1/B2 Certifying Engineers for base maintenance on A330 and B787 aircraft in Prestwick. Shift pattern is 5 on / 5 off / 4 on / 4 off, 07:00–19:00.

You’ll take ownership of your area and work with the maintenance team to keep checks running safely and on schedule. Ideal candidates hold A330 and/or B787 type ratings, an RAF/engineering apprenticeship or equivalent, and strong hands-on certifying experience with solid knowledge of airworthiness regulations.

Qualifications

• A330 and B787 type ratings required.
• Strong hands-on certifying experience.
• Knowledge of airworthiness regulations, MOE, MEL and SRM.
• Safety-focused with ability to supervise and support others.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on with the aircraft and own allocated area.
• Work with the wider maintenance team to keep checks on schedule and safe operation.

We’re looking for experienced B1 and B2 Certifying Engineers to join a busy Base Maintenance operation.

Aircraft: A330 & B787

Shift: 5 on / 5 off / 4 on / 4 off

Days: 07:00 – 19:00

You’ll be hands‑on with the aircraft, taking ownership of your allocated area and working alongside the wider maintenance team to keep checks running safely and on schedule.

What we’re looking for:

• A330 and/or B787 type rating
• Recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship or similar
• Strong hands‑on certifying experience
• Good knowledge of airworthiness regulations, MOE, MEL and SRM
• A safety‑focused approach and confidence supervising and supporting others
