Job Overview

Licensed Aircraft Engineer – This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and self-driven B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to carry out a range of maintenance activities on large commercial aircraft. The role involves both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, prioritising safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality standards.

The successful candidate will lead and mentor team members as needed and be responsible for ensuring that all tasks meet maintenance organisation approvals and customer expectations. Duties will include aircraft and engine storage, modification implementation, defect rectification, and engine removals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved procedures and customer work orders
  • Complete and verify all required maintenance documentation, including that of supporting team members
  • Ensure maintenance activities are executed efficiently and on time
  • Communicate progress, manpower needs, and critical tasks to senior management
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation, and FOD prevention within the workspace

  • Salary: £80,000 - £85,700 per year

Job Requirements
  • Valid EASA B1 or B2 License
  • Type-rated on:
    • A330 (GE CF6, PW4000, RR Trent 700)
    • A320 (CFM56 & IAE V2500) or B737 (CFM56)
  • Demonstrable recent hands-on experience (minimum six months in the last two years) on the listed or comparable aircraft
  • In-depth understanding of inspection procedures, tools, and industry practices
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure
  • Familiar with large jet maintenance, line operations, and engineering quality standards
  • Dual B1 and B2 license
  • Engine Ground Run (EGR) training
  • Additional type ratings such as B777 or A340
