Job description

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business that is looking to recruit a Licensed Aircraft Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth, located at their Amesbury depot.

Day to day, you’ll provide a CRS signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after defect rectification or scheduled maintenance, supervise engineering and Flight Line activity on Company aircraft and associated equipment in conformity with authorised schedules, technical publications, and instructions. You will ensure the highest standards of maintenance are maintained, undertake scheduled and corrective maintenance of the Aircraft fleet to ensure airworthiness meets customer requirements daily, investigate, diagnose, and rectify defects as directed, and complete all documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide a CRS signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.
  • Supervise engineering and Flight Line activity on Company aircraft and associated equipment in conformity with authorised schedules.
  • Undertake scheduled and corrective maintenance of the Aircraft fleet to ensure airworthiness meets customer requirements daily.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and rectify defects, submit reports, and complete all documentation per legislation and company procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Specific technical knowledge.
  • Understanding of partnership and alliance between customer and contractor.
  • Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
  • Knowledge of MOD Engineering procedures/documentation (desirable).
  • EASA/CAA Part 66, B1.2 license – working towards license considered; other heavier licenses may also be considered.
  • Driving Licence.

Position: Licensed Aircraft Engineer (MB468)

Location: Amesbury

Salary: £44,505.72

Working Hours: Monday to Friday
