Library Services Facilitator (Term Time Only)

Hours: 36.25 hours

Working: 40.63 weeks (paid for 49.83 weeks to include accrued annual leave)

Location: Altrincham Campus, Stretford Campus (requirements across the Group may require cover at other sites as agreed with Programme Leader/Head Of Studies)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Library Services Facilitator to join The Trafford College Group (TCG). The role involves supporting independent learning by providing effective learning spaces and resources, and delivering a welcoming service to all college members.

You will offer high-quality customer service, assist with IT and resources, and support students in their studies. Responsibilities include delivering library inductions, conducting research and study skills sessions, and liaising with curriculum teams to ensure relevant resources are available.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Level 3 Library or initial teaching/training qualification (e.g., PTLLS) or a commitment to achieve within two years
  • Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent
  • Desirable: Level 2 IT qualification (e.g., ECDL)
