We now have a vacancy of Library and Information Assistant to provide a customer focused point of contact for the pubic on all matters relating to the work of the library service.

We are looking for someone with:

• The ability to act enthusiastically and appropriately, in line with the Salford Community Leisure behaviours, supporting colleagues and partners

• The ability to fulfil lifting and handling duties
• The ability to form and maintain strong partnerships within Salford Community Leisure and across a range of organisations

This is a fixed term post until 31st March 2026.

The working hours are as follows:

Monday - 9am to 5.30pm
Tuesday - 9am to 5.30pm
Wednesday - 9am to 5.30pm
Thursday 1.30 5.30pm
Friday 9am to 5.30pm
One Saturday in four 9am to 1pm

You will be expected to work across any library in the City.
