A local government council in England is looking for a Library Customer Service Assistant to support users, provide information, and enhance the library experience. The role requires experience in customer service and skills in managing inquiries both in person and digitally. This position offers flexibility and involvement in community projects, with responsibilities spanning across various ages and services.

In this customer-facing role, you will handle inquiries from customers face-to-face, via email, or by telephone, assisting with day-to-day library questions.
You will provide high-quality customer service, supporting the delivery of library services, including IT support, information, and activities for all ages. Your role will help users access the full range of library resources and contribute to their positive experience.
You will be based at Stafford Library, which is open Monday to Saturday.
The hours of work are 20.5 hours per week:
Week One
Monday: 10.00am-6.00pm
Wednesday: 10.00am-6.00pm
Friday: 10.00am-5.00pm
Week Two
Monday: 10.00am-6.00pm
Friday: 10.00am-5.00pm
Saturday: 9.00am-4.00pm
The hours of work are 6 hours per week: Post 2
Saturday: 9.00am-4.00pm
