Join Our Team as a Library Assistant! Are you passionate about education and eager to help others? We are looking for a cheerful and proactive Library Assistant to join our Enquiry Services team in Holborn, London. This temporary full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in our vibrant Library community.

Position Details
  • Contract Type: Temporary (2 months with potential for extension)
  • Location: Holborn, London (6-minute walk from Holborn station)
  • Hours: Full-time, office-based
  • Pay: £17.76 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Enquiry Services: Responding daily to queries via email, chat, phone, and in-person; keeping track of enquiry statistics to improve services.
  • User Engagement: Welcoming visitors and guiding them in using services and facilities; roaming the Library to assist users; helping with study space bookings and ensuring a quiet environment.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing user issues related to Library services and facilities; liaising with the Estates team for maintenance concerns; assisting with upkeep of self-service machines and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
