Job description

Job Opportunity: Specialist Ballet Coach

Millfield School is seeking a dedicated Specialist Ballet Coach to provide expert RAD Ballet instruction as part of the Millfield Dance Programme.

This program involves over 100 students participating in 38 weekly sessions, covering Classical Ballet from Grades 5-8, including vocational, free, and pointe work classes.

The Specialist Ballet Coach will work with students across all age groups from Year 9 to 13, with a focus on our advanced ballet students. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified and experienced RAD Ballet Teacher, capable of inspiring and engaging students in both Classical and Contemporary Ballet through detailed knowledge and a passion for ballet education.

Role Details:

1. Part-time, 8 hours per week
2. Sessions on Wednesdays from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm and during one lunchtime session
3. Term-time only with some flexibility in days
4. Salary: £6,019.31 per annum (inclusive of statutory holiday pay)
