Job description

We have an full-time permanent opportunity available to join our team as a Library & Archives Delivery Driver.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

You will provide a safe, friendly, effective and efficient delivery service ensuring essential transportation of stock items and objects between libraries and archive venues ensuring timely supply of stock and business continuity.

Providing excellent customer service at all times and implementing a “can do” culture, you will contribute to the overall success of the service area and the organisation as a whole.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

  • NVQ Level2 or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Current valid driving licence
  • You must have experience of maintaining accurate records and of working to achieve targets.
  • Good numeracy, literacy and excellent customer service skills are essential, along with IT skills and the ability to use digital applications.
If successful, you will be required to undertake and pass and in-house driving assessment as part of our pre-employment checks before any offer of appointment can be confirmed.
