St John's C of E Middle School Academy in Bromsgrove is seeking a Librarian to lead our school library as a vibrant learning hub for pupils across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. The ideal candidate will be passionate about children's literature, literacy and learning.

This part-time post offers 16 hours per week during term time. You will collaborate with teachers, organise reading events, author visits, book fairs and library displays, and help pupils develop independent research skills.

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working with young people.
  • Be proactive in developing opportunities for pupils to use and enjoy the library beyond timetabled lessons, including supporting wider access to the library where appropriate.

We are seeking a dedicated, organised and enthusiastic Librarian to join our supportive team and play a key role in developing our school library as a vibrant learning hub for pupils across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
