What You'll Be Doing:

Transforming our library into an IRL “book haven” — think comfy zones, monthly themes, author events & student-led clubs.

Championing reading for pleasure: curated displays, genre-themed chats, blind-date-with-a-book… the fun you imagine

Delivering drop-in research clinics, citation lessons & homework support — helping students become info ninjas

Managing stock (print + digital), budget and e-resources — keeping the library shipshape

Leading a squad of pupil librarians — giving them badges, training sessions & sense of pride

Building community links: Bradford libraries, local writers & groups — making library life vibrant

What You Bring:

2+ years in a school or academic library — you know how to make a resource centre hum.

Strong literacy, IT and cataloguing skills – digital tools are your friend.

Secure: calm, creative communicator who can engage 11–18 yr olds.

Proactive and full of ideas — you spot gaps and fill them with flair!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
