We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and creative Band CAMHS Practitioners to join our Core CAMHS Team.
Our team is multidisciplinary, offering approaches such as Family Therapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Social Work, and Mental Health Practitioners. We work with young people experiencing moderate to severe emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. We value service user participation and feedback as essential to developing and delivering person-centered, inclusive care.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic, the ability to work autonomously, personal accountability, and resilience under pressure. We provide regular clinical supervision, CPD opportunities, and support from a robust multidisciplinary team. You will also contribute to research, evaluation, and service development to ensure responsive, effective, and equitable care.
Main duties include working primarily in our outpatient clinic, with potential support roles in home, education, or community settings. Your role is to deliver high-quality care that empowers children and young people, supports their recovery, and involves them in service development. You will assess, intervene, and coordinate care as part of the CAMHS locality team, working creatively and flexibly in partnership with service users, families, and wider networks.
