Job description

We are seeking a talented Liability Underwriter to join our clients dynamic team. As a Liability Underwriter, you will play a critical role in assessing and evaluating insurance risks from both UK and Multinational clients and determining appropriate coverage options.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing risk and determining the terms and conditions of liability insurance policies.
  • Analysing and evaluating the potential liability exposure of individuals and businesses.
  • Collaborating with other departments/offices to ensure underwriting guidelines and regulations are met.
  • Reviewing policy documents and communicating underwriting decisions to stakeholders.
  • Monitoring industry trends, legal developments, and emerging risks to inform underwriting decisions.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal teams.

Experience

  • Experience in underwriting, especially in liability underwriting.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Skilled in establishing and nurturing relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proactive and capable of managing your own workload efficiently to meet service standards.
  • Focused on meeting tight deadlines, even under pressure.
