Liability injury Claims handler

£38,000 - £42,000 plus benefits.

Birmingham (Hybrid or Remote)

Barker Munro Recruitment is recruiting for a client who takes pride in delivering an outstanding service in the Liability Injury sector and consistently meets and exceed client expectations.

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join their Liability Injury team as a Claims Handler to deal with cases through to settlement.

As a Liability Injury Claims Handler, you will play a pivotal role in managing customer claims with a proactive and high-quality approach. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development within a strong team environment, where support and collaboration are key.

The role will require you to receive and assess new claims, update and maintain accurate reserves throughout the claim lifecycle and to review technical reports, invoices, and related documents, providing necessary instructions within your authority level. You will collaborate with peers on claims exceeding authority limits and properly document referral actions. You will build robust relationships with clients and strive to enhance the customer experience through exceptional communication and support.

Applicants must have Injury Claims experience relating to Public Liability or Employers Liability, be team orientated, have good attention to detail and be able to work independently. We are seeking candidates with good communication and customer service skills plus a positive attitude with a proactive problem-solving approach.

This role can be wither a Hybrid role working from the Birmingham office or a Remote role requiring you to visit the team once a month plus occasional client visits.

Working Monday to Friday, Our client offers 25 days holiday plus a long list of generous company benefits.
