Job summary

EKFB is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager (Liability for Maintenance) based in Milton Keynes to monitor and report progress, lead the Liability for Maintenance scope and manage upstream/downstream communications with HS2 and partner teams.

The role requires a civil engineering background, proven project execution experience, and strong stakeholder and risk management skills. A full driving licence and proactive, independent working style are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree [or similar] level qualification in civil engineering or other relevant field.
• Extensive experience in project execution with a strong background in design, highways and commissioning activities on major projects.
• Experience in the management of QMS on major multi-disciplinary projects in the construction industry, with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in AutoCad, Project Wise and similar systems.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Ability to impact and influence stakeholders, build strong relations internally and externally.
• Ability to drive efficient delivery and business improvement, with strong commercial skills.
• Can work independently and is proactive.
• Ability to manage and mitigate risks to a large programme.
• You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
