Job Title – Liability Claims Team Leader

Contract – Permanent

Location – Bedfordshire

Our client, a global loss adjusting company, is looking for a Team Leader to support and manage their rapidly expanding team of claims handlers, based at their Milton Keynes office.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be leading a team of experienced claims handlers who deal with Liability claims, ranging from Employers Liability, Personal Liability through to Commercial-based claims varying in value.

General Background

We’re looking for a talented leader: a candidate who enjoys mentoring and developing a team to ensure high performance and success. You’ll ideally have/be:

  • An experienced team leader from a Claims background, although those with experience in the insurance industry are very welcome to apply
  • Evidence of mentoring and developing teams to a high-performance standard
  • Knowledge of the principles of insurance and claims process
  • Exceptional customer service ethics – ensuring clients and policyholders receive a first-class service from your team
  • The ability to deal with challenges and setbacks, resolving any issues in a calm and methodical manner
  • Strong organisational skills, coupled with attention to detail
  • Flexibility in your approach to changing priorities
