Job description

Lia Honda Northampton is seeking an A/A+ level Automotive Technician to join our team. If you're an experienced technician looking for a fast-paced, professional, and positive environment that rewards hard-working, reliable, and team-oriented individuals, this is the right place for you! Our service departments are equipped with the latest technologies and equipment, including a service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign-on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation Range: $70k-$110K+
  • Sign-on Bonus: Up to $5000 based on experience and certifications
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Service Technician experience
  • Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair
  • State Inspection certification
  • ASE Certification (recommended)
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair, and service procedures
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid and clean driver's license
Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform repairs as specified on work orders efficiently and according to dealership processes
  2. Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems
  3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  4. Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and estimates
  5. Perform warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications
