LGV1 (Class 1) Drivers – Dayshift & Nightshift | Aberdeen

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Company: AM2PM Recruitment

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: Weekends: £19.50–£20.50/hour

Hours: 40+ hours per week (45-minute break included)

Start Times: 7:00am (Days) | 5:00–7:00pm (Nights)

About the Role

AM2PM Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced LGV1 (Class 1) Drivers on behalf of a well-established and rapidly expanding haulage company based in Aberdeen.

This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers seeking long-term, consistent work with the chance to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Palletised deliveries across the Central Belt
• Trunking goods throughout Scotland and England
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects (via app or paperwork)
• Operating within legal and safety standards at all times
• Using company PDA systems for tracking deliveries
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately

Requirements

• Valid LGV1 (Class 1) licence
• CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Maximum of 6 points (No DR, DD, or IN codes)
• Multi-drop and/or warehouse experience preferred
• Good communication skills and strong reliability
