Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Tipper Driver for Class 1 and Class 2 routes based in Newhaven. Shifts include days, nights, and weekends with immediate start and ongoing work opportunities. Training is provided for those new to tipper operations.

Requirements include HGV Class 1/2 licence, DCPC, Digital Tachograph card, and at least 1 year of HGV/LGV experience with no more than 6 penalty points. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence is required.
• Valid DCPC certificate.
• Digital Tachograph card holder recommended.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Minimum 1 year of HGV1/LGV1 driving experience.
• Experience with tipper vehicles is preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to local sites.
• Adhere to time-sensitive schedules and collection times.
• Provide a high standard of customer service.

Tipper Driver Class 1/ Class 2 (C+E, HGV1, LGV1,CATC,HGV2,LGV2) - Days, Nights or Weekends - Newhaven

Based in Newhaven

Days 0600am / Nights 1800pm / Occasional Saturdays

• Pay Rate: Starting at £17.00ph (10 hrs min) Paid weekly
• Flexible payment options

Skills and Experience Required- Tipper Driver Class 1/Class 2(C+E, HGV1, LGV1, Class 1, HGV2, CATC, Class 2)

• A valid HGV Class 1/Class 2 Licence
• A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
• A minimum of 1 years' experience driving HGV1/ LGV1 vehicles
• Previous experience operating Tipper vehicles (not essential)
• A good level of English (spoken, written, and understood)
