Job summary

Enva is seeking a flexible Utility Driver for our Transport team in Nottingham (Colwick). You will operate a range of LGV vehicles including REL, FEL, Skip, RoRo, Tippers and Grab, and support diverse rounds with safety and efficiency at the forefront.

The role emphasizes pre-start checks, compliance with road transport regulations, and strong customer service. Training provided and opportunities for growth within Enva’s waste management operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LGV (Class 2) licence and CPC.
• Demonstrated understanding of HGV operation and safety.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing workloads.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of LGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Carry out pre-start inspections and report defects promptly.
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation and health and safety rules.
• Complete waste transfer documentation per Duty of Care.
• Secure loads, ensure permits, lights, and cones for road transport.
• Keep cabs and vehicles clean and well-presented.
• Deliver excellent customer service and professional conduct.
• Participate in end-of-shift debriefs and safety reviews.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture and suggest improvements.
