Job description

W.D.M. Limited, the UK’s leading manufacturer of road survey vehicles and provider of road survey and road condition assessment, are looking for an experienced Mechanic to service and maintain their fleet of specialist road surveying trucks, cars and vans.

Responsibilities will include general maintenance, servicing and inspections to a high and at least MOT standard and although based in our Staple Hill, Bristol premises, you will be expected to attend breakdowns anywhere in the UK.

You will be expected to have all essential skills & qualifications for a mechanic role, be able to diagnose all types of faultsand use diagnostic kit to interrogate on-board systems.

You must have a Full driving licence - a LGV driving Licence C1+E is an advantage, but not essential as you will have the opportunity to undergo LGV driver training after 12 months service. Training will also be given for maintaining and working with specialist equipment.

Salary is dependent on experience.

Additional Info:

Working hours:Full time 37.5 hours per week, plus overtime as and when required.

Holidays: 25 days per annum, plus recognised public holidays.
