In your role as a LGV Driver, you will be operating refrigerated articulated vehicles, delivering chilled stock into RDCs and collecting chilled stock from local suppliers across the UK.

LGV C+E drivers are required to work various shift patterns, including 4 on 4 off or any 5 from 7, with start times between 09:00 and 11:00 am (Wednesday-Sunday, Thursday-Monday, Friday-Tuesday, Saturday-Wednesday).

• £166.80 Monday – Friday dayshift = £13.90 per hour based on 12-hour shifts
• £188.47 Saturday & Sunday dayshift = £15.70 per hour based on 12-hour shifts
• £5.00 daily tax-free meal allowance
• Potential to earn up to £1000 annual safe driver bonus scheme (paid £250 quarterly) based on safe and efficient driving
• Weekly pay every Friday
• All fleet vehicles under 3 years old, with 75% being the latest 2024 Volvo FH models
• Handheld tablets for pre-vehicle checks and manifests

Qualifications

• Possession of LGV C+E Licence
• Current DCPC
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
• Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines
