Job summary

The Recruitment Co in Ballymena is recruiting an LGV Driver for a 3-month temporary assignment with immediate start. You will drive and operate allocated vehicles safely, perform pre-use checks, and support waste collection and related services.

Applicants must hold a valid Category C Driving Licence, a valid CPC card, and have at least two years’ continuous LGV driving experience, with good teamwork and safety focus. Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Category C Driving Licence.
• Must hold a valid Driver CPC card.
• Minimum of two years’ continuous LGV driving experience.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate allocated LGV vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Carry out pre-use vehicle checks and complete reports.
• Ensure on-board systems and safety devices are operational and used correctly.
• Perform daily cleaning and routine vehicle checks.
• Check fuel, oil and water levels at start/end of shift.
• Ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy before use.
• Support waste collection, cleansing and recycling services as part of a small team.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and operational requirements.
