Job description

We are currently seeking a fully qualified LGV Driver to operate on a nightshift schedule working 4 nights on and 4 nights off (1930-0615) out of our clients Aberdeen sites. Competitive basic rates are available along with a range of attractive benefits.

Successful applicants will be required to safely and efficiently carry out various LGV disciplines to include flatbed and curtainside duties.

Holding an LGV Class 1 Licence, you will be fully conversant with all LGV driving regulations and legislation and must ensure compliance with all Company policies, procedures and working practices.

You will be adaptable to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and in writing.Presenting a positive image of the company through first class service delivery and customer engagement, you will have a proven track record operating within the transportation industry with a demonstrable commitment to working safely and efficiently and be accustomed to completing daily vehicle and trailer checks to identify and report any defects.

Previous transportation experience within the oil and gas sector along with relevant HSE training would be advantageous and a strong geographical knowledge of the Aberdeenshire area is preferred. Due to the nature of the role candidates must hold a Driver CPC licence. Preference will be given to candidates who hold an ADR certificate.
