LGV Nights Driver

Location: Whitlingham, Norwich

Salary: Starting from £20.72 per hour depending on skills and progression, plus overtime. Eligible for fuel and performance bonuses.

Working Pattern: Rotating shift pattern over 7 days, average 10-hour shifts including statutory breaks. Permanent, full-time position. Start times between 4pm and 8pm (16:00-20:00).

Requirements to be an LGV Driver

• Valid LGV license with Class 1 endorsements (C & E)
• Completed CPC
• Flexibility for essential industry work
• Experience in LGV driving, preferably in similar industries
• Strong safety and compliance commitment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Duties

• Transport waste safely, following all safety procedures
• Coordinate with operational teams and site managers
• Deliver sewage by-products to various destinations, including treatment plants and farms
• Work at height and complete occupational health checks
• Undergo routine driver assessments and drug/alcohol screening
• Perform manual tasks like lifting waste materials
• Promote sustainable practices
• Maintain professional customer interactions
